Where Am I -   New Deal Programme

The New Deal programme has been set up by the government to help the long term unemployed or people with disabilities find work. The programmes are designed to help everyone from young people, or over 50’s to disabled and lone parents. If you would like information regarding your Job seekers allowance click here for more information.

The scheme will provide you with your own personal advisor who will help you with all aspects of finding suitable employment. They can help you with

  • Work trials – this is where you are given the opportunity to try out a job and show the employer you are able to take the job on.

  • Employment trial – You can try the job out for size without loosing your benefits

  • Pathways to Work – This is specifically for people who may have health or mobility condition that will require that extra bit of support. You would normally be on incapacity benefit, or income support on health grounds to qualify
